Russia and France make it to the EuroHockey Championship II Men Final

After 6 days of play in Cambrai Hockey Club, the two teams that will face each other in the final are hosts France and Russia. Both countries are ensured now of a place at the EuroHockey Championships in Amsterdam in 2021.

Match 13: Ukraine v Belarus (Pool C) 1-0

Ukraine beat Belarus in the first game of the day and took 3 vital points in its attempt to avoid relegation.

Match 14: Italy v Czech Republic (Pool C) 1-1 

A draw between Italy and the Czech Republic means that any of the teams in Pool C could be relegated or be safe! The final games tomorrow will determine this ranking.

Match 15: Russia v Poland (Semi-final 1) 2-0 

Another strong performance from Russia saw them safely into the final tomorrow.

Match 16: France v Austria (Semi-final 2) 1-1 4-3 S/O 

Hosts France had a tougher ride into the Final, a draw with well-matched Austria brought the game to a shoot-out, which they won by the smallest of margins 4-3.
