A fairytale ending for the French Federation as their women’s team also won their EuroHockey Championship event and with that promotion along with Lithuania to the EuroHockey Championship II in 2021.

After thunderstorms, fork lightning and heavy rain that at one stage the spectators helped the organisers to remove from the field with overturned tables, suffice to say that the EHF is proud of all the teams and officials who got the job done!
