#MondayMotivation – Malta has a female EHF qualified judge!

Posted On 16th September 2019

“From a small seed, a mighty trunk may grow.” as Aeschylus once said and so it is also the case for Malta hockey which is growing, seed by seed, step by step!

Congratulations to Justine Pace Gasan on becoming Malta’s first official female table judge!

During Malta’s hosting of the EuroHockey Club Challenge IV, Men, tournament, last May  Justine got a taste of being a table judge and so the Malta Hockey Association proposed her for the EHF Judges for Europe seminar (more on that later this week!)

Tom Pedersen Smith, EHF Development and Education Manager said “The EHF firmly believes that the best way forward for hockey in Europe in through education of all those who are involved in our sport. It is wonderful that Justine was inspired at the EuroHockey Club event to challenge herself to go on with her judging education. We look forward to seeing Justine at EuroHockey events in the future.”
