#MondayMotivation – The EHF Youth Leadership Panel for 2020/21 is announced

All forty-four (44) participants of the EHF Youth Leadership Festival this summer were invited to apply for the available positions. Following a selection process by the EHF Development Committee and current EHF Youth Leadership Panel, we are delighted to announce that a total of 6 new leaders have been chosen for the EHF Youth Leadership Panel 2020 to 2021. The main criteria were to have each region represented on the panel.(*)

On making the announcement Peter Elders, Chair of the EHF’s Development Committee said “It is very encouraging for the EHF to see that there are so many young leaders in Europe who are looking to learn, improve and voice opinions and solutions to better the development of hockey at all levels. I am really looking forward to working with this dedicated group.” 

The Youth leadership panel aim is to ‘Give youth a real voice in European Hockey development’.

Priorities for the panel include

  1. Youth Hockey Supporting the increase of young people accessing hockey.
  2. ParaHockey Increase the amount of European Nations paying ParaHockey.
  3. Youth Leadership EHF provides a pathway to committees in nations and/or with the EHF.
  4. Work Experience Across hockey programmes and events within development, competitions and communications.
