Fantastic news on this November Monday! The EHF, KNHB and Dutch clubs have teamed up together again to deliver a Twinning programme in the lead up to the 2021 EuroHockey Championships that will be held in Amsterdam.
One of the pillars of the EHF is Sharing Knowledge, and what better way to do that than to twin clubs and countries around Europe with Dutch clubs!
This is the chance for Member Associations to apply to be a part of this incredibly successful programme, with significant funding to ensure successful outcomes.
What is the objective of twinning:
To create a structural exchange between a Dutch Club and an EHF member nation which enhances development areas like:
- Club & Association Development
- Volunteering
- Good Governance
- Umpiring, Coaching, and/or Officials Development
- Event management
Who is involved:
- European Hockey Federation.
- Royal Dutch Hockey Association.
- Dutch Hockey Clubs.
- Developing European National Associations.
How does it work:
This project pairs National Associations who want to develop their infrastructures with established Dutch Hockey Clubs.
How long does this last:
Twinning projects are a minimum of 12 months. See specific timeline page in this booklet.
What resources are available:
Funding grants of up to €10,000 are available in order to secure long-term investment in the growth of hockey in developing nations.
