Who will lift the EuroHockey Indoor Championships for women?

Posted On 23rd January 2020

Following on from the EuroHockey Indoor Championship men last weekend we now concentrate on the women’s Championships. It’s our great delight that due to the great work of the Croatian and Slovakian Hockey federations in addition to the EHF’s own resources, all of the women’s events will be streamed on our EHTV channel.

EuroHockey Championship, Minsk, Belarus, 24/26 January 2020

Two years ago in Prague, it was Germany who took the Women’s title for the 15th time.

The Final Ranking in 2018 was:

1. GER 2. NED 3. BLR 4. CZE 5. UKR 6. SUI 7. RUS 8. POL

Belgium and Austria were promoted from Championship II in 2018 and will take their places with the top teams, with Russia and Poland moving to the Championship II for this year.

Germany come into the event as favourites, only 3 other nations have held this title; England in 1996, Ukraine in 2010 and The Netherlands in 2014 and 2016.
