2021 EuroHockey Club Events – UPDATE

Posted On 16th April 2020

Following the cancellation of the 2020 EuroHockey Club events, the EHF Executive Board, in consultation with the Competitions Committee Outdoor has discussed the qualification for the 2021 EuroHockey Club events.

The EHF acknowledges that many national leagues in our Member Associations countries will not have been fully completed due to the impact of COVID19 in Europe.

In order to ensure fairness and to support our Member Associations, we are waiving the need for countries to enter their Championships winners.

Therefore for 2021 EuroHockey Club Events, all Member Associations can decide internally on their participating teams.

They are free to decide their own procedure for selecting their first and second club entry.

In relation to the EHL, more information will be sent out in due course on the ranking tables and qualification for Men and Women.

The Dates for the EuroHockey Club events 2021 are to be confirmed (*).

(*) The venues and qualified teams will be announced following the Competitions Committee Outdoor meeting which will take place in September, and the process for entries and applications will be sent out as usual. More information to be sent in due course.
