Maddie Hinch – Her personal journey

The EHF Webinar Series continues on 11th May. Jack’s next guest hardly needs an introduction in the hockey world!

Maddie Hinch will share her personal journey and her perceptions of the hockey world. She will delve into the world of goalkeeping coaching and in particular coaches and teammates that have inspired her and her future international dream. She might even let us into the secrets of her water bottle notes….

Maddie made her senior debut in 2008 and was later awarded a full-time contract with GB Hockey in 2010. Since then she’s established herself as the first-choice goalkeeper and has gone on to represent England and Great Britain more than 100 times.

She has won FIH World Goal Keeper of the year no less than 3 times
She is the current Olympic Champion, taking gold with GB in Rio. In front of a home crowd, her brilliance in shoot outs helped lead England to Gold at the EuroHockey Championships in 2015.

She is the founder of MH1 Coaching with a degree in sport and exercise science.

She is an ambassador for Red Bull – describing herself “I’m a hockey goalkeeper who’s driven, competitive, bubbly and freckly!”
