Our Educational programmes function on a three tier structure to train and support our members’ coaches. Each tier is tied to the FIH Academy, so your coach gains not just experience and knowledge, but also the required competences as set out in the Academy programme. All documents needed to apply have been sent to your national association, so make sure to get the applications in on time!
Top Coaches Programme (TCP) is a 2 year programme and targets at the coaches close to or working with your National teams (any age group). TCP offers 2 seminars per year and 3 online webinars. Coaches completing the programme will be assessed for FIH Academy Level 3. Deadline for applications in December 31st, 2016.
Coaches for Europe (C4E) is a 2 year programme and targets coaches working in your key clubs especially in the area of youth development. Coaches completing the programme will be assessed for FIH Academy Level 2. Deadline for applications in December 31st, 2016.
Supporting National Growth (SNG) is an annual programme which aims to support new coaches and help develop your national association. Deadline for Applications is February 24th, 2017.
EHF/KHNB Youth Leadership Festival in Amsterdam
EHF/KNHB Youth Leadership Festival, which will take place in Amsterdam, The Netherlands 15th – 19th August 2017, in connection with the Rabo EuroHockey Championships. All documents needed to apply have been sent to your national association, so make sure to get the applications in on time!
The Festival has been designated as an ‘Official Side Event’ to the much expected Championships, and we think this is a wonderful opportunity to reward a young leader who is active in helping hockey grow in your nation.
The selected youth leaders will receive training in a variety of areas and will be able to network with other young leaders from over 20 European nations. We find that such networking leads to future twinning and exchanges both a club and national level.
Deadline for Applications is 10th January 2017.
We are currently accepting applications for our EHF Club of the Year 2016. The deadline for applications is January 29th, 2017. All National Associations have received information on how to apply from the EHF Office.
This award highlights those clubs who grow and promote hockey in their communities, as well as make an effort to develop not only their players, but also their volunteer base, their coaches, umpires and facilities. In order to become the EHF Club of the Year 2016, clubs must be nominated by their National Associations directly.
For 2016, we will have 2 categories available: Large Club of the Year, for clubs with more than 300 members and Small Club of the Year, for clubs with less than 300 members. For more information on our Club of The Year award click here!
