EuroHockey is delighted to announce the selections for this year’s EuroHockey Solidarity Grants.
A total of 11 nations will receive funding for projects to take place in 2024. The selection group; comprising board members, and members of the development committee took their time going through all applications before reaching the final decision early this week.
The selected projects are as follows:

Successful applications demonstrated a clear strategic focus and had a vision for a sustainable legacy beyond the length of the grant. Many of the applications also aligned with the priorities of sports ministries and National Olympic Committees in the nations.
Since the launch of the EuroHockey Solidarity grants in 2021, EuroHockey has been able to support over 50 projects in 30 member national associations. Since their inception, support has enabled programmes ranging from school festivals and youth development to the development of national coaching and umpiring pathways.
Board member and Development Committee Chair Peter Elders, speaking about the grant had this to say: “It has been incredible to see the solidarity grants go from strength to strength these past years. It is great to see so many national associations pursuing these grants and pushing forward the development of hockey in their nations.”
EuroHockey Institute Coordinator, Cameron Findler added: “While EuroHockey can support with resource and expertise, these programmes would not be so successful without the work of passionate individuals in these countries. We look forward to working with these individuals and their nations to implement this year’s projects.”
